SETI@home is a scientific
experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the
Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You
can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes
radio telescope data.
SETI@home users can form "groups": for example, students in a school,
or employees of a company. Groups can compete to analyze the most data,
or they can meet and discuss SETI via the web. The IsraAliens is
a team of Israelis and Jews from around the world that participate in the
SETI@home project. If you want to join us, go to the
SETI@home web site, register, and
download
and install the SETI@home client. after installation,
open it, and in the Projects tab click the Attach to new project
button. in the window that appears, enter the address
setiathome.berkeley.edu and the key number you
received by e-mail when you registered.
