SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.
First, download the analyzing program. It has versions for almost any computing platform, and a nice screen saver version for desktop PCs (Win9x/NT) and Macs, so it doesn't even interferes with your work! the first time you run it you'll be asked to log in, and that's it! To join the Israeli team, click the link below and click the "Join" link.
